OREM, Utah-Brock Cloward completed 13 of 19 passes for 185 yards and four touchdowns, while running for 37 yards and another score as the Wasatch Wasps pummeled Mountain View 45-14 in non-region football action Friday.
Damien Skiby also returned an interception 28 yards for a score and Matthias Dunn added a 28-yard field goal for the Wasps, who improved to 3-0 and forced the clock operator to run the clock perpetually by invoking the mercry rule in the first half.
The Wasps were able to successfully complete a game with no lightning delays for the first time on the young season.
Up next for Wasatch is a foray into the Denver-Colorado Springs area as they will face the Castle View (Colo.) Sabercats Friday September 7.
While there, the Wasps’ players and coaches will have the opportunity to tour the U.S. Air Force Academy’s football facilities.
