SPANISH FORK, Utah-Quincy Downey amassed a hat trick and the Wasatch Wasps routed Spanish Fork 6-1 Thursday in Region 8 girls soccer action. Hannah Lapray added a pair of goals in the win for the Wasps and Karissa Bingham also found the net for Wasatch. Gracie Sorensen scored in the loss for the Dons.

HEBER CITY, Utah-The Wasatch Wasps swept the Payson Lions 3-0 in Region 8 volleyball action Thursday at the Nest. The Wasps prevailed 25-16, 25-11, 25-20 to overpower the Lions in straight sets.
