5-A Playoffs
HEBER CITY, Utah-Aidan Magoffin posted three RBI while going 2 of 3 at the plate and the Wasatch Wasps outlasted Viewmont 6-5 Monday in the consolation bracket of the 5-A state baseball playoffs. Noah Turley added a double in the win for the Wasps. On the mound, Conner Johnson took the win. Wasatch next faces Cottonwood Tuesday at 4:30 pm as Skyridge downed the Colts 3-0 late Monday night. The Wasps have a chance for vengeance as Cottonwood knocked them to the consolation bracket last Wednesday with a 10-0 victory.
