5-A Playoffs
HEBER CITY, Utah-Charly Kelson belted a pair of doubles and the Wasatch Wasps routed Alta 16-4 Tuesday in the first round of the 5-A state playoffs. Riley Arnold was also masterful in the circle, posting nine strikeouts for the Wasps. Alayna Georgio also added an RBI in the victory for Wasatch. The Wasps next visit the West Panthers, Region 6’s #1 seed Thursday at 4:00 pm at Salt Lake City.

5-A Playoffs
MURRAY, Utah-Ross Dunn homered and Jason Luke added a triple as the Cottonwood Colts routed Wasatch 20-1 in the first round of the 5-A state playoffs Tuesday. Trent Sweat doubled in the loss for the Wasps. Wasatch next travels to Brigham City to face the Box Elder Bees Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the consolation bracket.
