5-A State Tournament Consolation Bracket
BOUNTIFUL, Utah-Noah Montoya hit a walk-off home run to lead the Viewmont Vikings to a dramatic 6-5 win over Wasatch Tuesday in the consolation bracket of the 5-A state baseball tournament. The Vikings overcame a 5-2 deficit in their half of the 7th Inning to pull out the thrilling victory. Brock Cloward and Parker Quinton had RBI in the loss for the Wasps.

1st Round of 5-A State Tournament
HEBER CITY, Utah-Charley Kelson and Paige Richins each tripled and the Wasatch Wasps routed Olympus 14-1 Tuesday in the first round of the 5-A state tournament. Preslee Christensen doubled twice, while Briley Bigelow and Andrea Sweat each doubled in the victory for Wasatch. Riley Arnold earned the win in the circle for the Wasps. Emma Marchant doubled in defeat for the Titans. Wasatch next hosts Roy in the 2nd round of the 5-A state softball tournament Thursday at 4:00 pm.

1st Round of 5-A State Tournament
HEBER CITY, Utah-Carlos Vargas scored twice, including the game-winner in overtime, as the Wasath Wasps outlasted Skyline 2-1 Tuesday in the first round of the 5-A state boys soccer tournament. The Wasps next host Roy Friday at 4:00 pm in the 5-A state quarterfinals.
