Desert Hills Tournament
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Chuck Steele came through with a key 5th Inning RBI and the Salem Hills Skyhawks bested Wasatch 6-4 at Desert Hills High School Saturday at the Desert Hills Tournament. Noah Turley homered and added an RBI double in the loss for the Wasps. Parker Quinton also had an RBI double in the loss for Wasatch. The 1-2 Wasps conclude the tournament Saturday afternoon against the Fremont Silverwolves.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Brayden Clark had 3 RBI and Jack Arevalo added 2 more RBI as the Fremont Silverwolves pulverized Wasatch 13-1 at the Desert Hills Tournament Saturday at Desert Hills High School. Jackson Hermanson had a 6th Inning RBI to help the Wasps evade the shutout as they fell to 1-3 with the loss. The Wasps return to action Friday against Bonneville at the Hurricane Tournament for what appears to be an 8:00 am opening ptich at Hurricane High School. Dixie High Spring Showdown
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Andrea Sweat posted a pair of RBI and the Wasatch Wasps humbled Clearfield 5-2 Saturday at the Dixie High Spring Showdown at Dixie High School. Riley Arnold earned the win in the circle for head coach Doug Kinsman’s squad, posting eight strikeouts in six innings of work.
