RIVERTON, Utah-Britton Jensen netted 17 points and the Cottonwood Colts got past Wasatch 81-74 Saturday to conclude the Riverton Holiday Classic slate for both squads. Will Harris posted 20 points in defeat for the Wasps, who fell to 6-7. The Wasps are next in action Friday as they host the Payson Lions at the Nest in another non-conference tilt.

HEBER CITY, Utah-Lexy Mackay posted 11 points and the Wasatch Wasps surged past Uintah 52-43 Saturday in non-region girls basketball action at the Nest. The win improved head coach Norm Hayter’s squad to 8-4 on the season. The Wasps are next in action Wednesday at Payson in a non-region tilt.
