WASATCH MOUNTAIN STATE PARK, Utah-Saturday, the Wasatch XC Invitational concluded at Soldier Hollow at Wasatch Mountain State Park.
Various Wasatch High School athletes competed in this event.
All of the Wasps who competed did so in either the boys or girls Wave 2 of varsity competition.
In Wave 2 of the girls varsity competition, star senior Abbie Randall (19:58.90) placed fiffth overall.
She was followed by sophomore Allison Munck (9th place; 20:27.40), sophomore Emma Page (16th place; 20:52.70), freshman Kate Giles (24th place; 21:17.30), sophomore Lillie Randall (33rd place; 21:53.20) senior Danielle Krull (34th place; 21:56.2o), freshman Tesha Krull (59th place; 28:32.90) sophomore Abigail Krull (71st place; 24:37.70) and freshman Mackenzie Goode (73rd place; 24:43.40).
This strong performace caused the Wasps to place third with 87 points. Davis was in first place with 57 points and Corner Canyon was second with 69 points.
For the Wasatch boys, senior Andrew Sullivan (16:36.80) was the top finisher, placing 17th overall.
He was followed by sophomore Trevor Hardy (51st place; 18:11.20), Jake Giles (55th place; 18:17.60), junior Zack Goode (59th place; 18:24.00), junior Eastin McCotter (69th place; 18:38.30), junior Carson Guymon (74th place; 18:49.90), junior Brock Coombs (76th place; 18:56.00), junior Christian Spencer (77th place; 18:58.40) and junior Seth Wright (117th place; 20:32.10). The Wasps placed 7th overall with 229 points.
