HEBER CITY, Utah-Thursday, Wasatch High School assistant principal Ryan Bishop, speaking on behalf of the Wasatch High School athletic department, sent out sincere congratulations to the Wasps’ “wonderful business partners in the Heber Valley.”
Bishop confirmed that June is traditionally the time annually when Wasatch High School solicits community business sponsors by sending a sponsorship request letter to every business in the Heber Valley community.
Bishop lauded the community, saying “our community’s generous contributions positively impact Wasatch High School in many different ways.”
Because of COVID-19, Bishop said Wasatch High School athletics will not be asking for sponsorship donations for the 2020-21 school year.
All businesses that have contributed over the course of the past two years will have their ads displayed at school athletic functions.
Bishop says the goal at Wasatch High School is to “give continued support to our local business community.”
Bishop concluded his statement saying that it is Wasatch High School’s hope that the “community regains a sense of normalcy over the next school year.”
