HEBER CITY, Utah-Within the next week, aspiring football stars in the Heber Valley will have a chance to hone their skills under the watchful eyes of Wasatch High coaches.
Wasatch High Football sponsors the Jr. Wasp Football camp in two sessions at Wright-Tree Stadium.
Monday and Tuesday June 4 and 5, the camp will be for 4th, 5th and 6th graders from 10:00 am-12:00 pm. On Wednesday and Thursday June 6 and 7, the scene shifts to working with 7th and 8th graders.
Pre-registration is $50 and signing up on the day of camp is $55 and this includes a camp T-shirt. You can pay online at www.myschoolfees.com.
All Wasatch County District forms (which are available online) must be filled out and they may be sent in with pre-registration or on the day of camp.
The purpose of this camp is to fine tune fundamental skills, while all sessions will offer specialized football instruction in offensive and defensive techniques. Campers will also be grouped according to age and ability. The Wasatch High football staff looks forward to educating youths on how much fun they can have in learning these skills.
