HYRUM, Utah-Parker Quinton and Zak Thacker each ran for touchdowns and Ammon Tuttle nailed a 22-yard field goal as the Wasatch Wasps downed the Mountain Crest Mustangs 17-8 Friday in non-region football action. Taden Burbank threw a 55-yard touchdown pass in the loss for the Mustangs.
The Wasps will have their home opener August 30 against the Viewmont Vikings.
