HEBER CITY, Utah-Adarius Edwards tossed seven scoring passes and the Wasatch Wasps routed Maple Mountain 49-20 Friday in Region 8 football action at Wright-Tree Stadium.

Of these scoring strikes, four of them went to Jarin Kalama, of 35, 40, 68 and 6 yards. Also catching Edwards’ touchdown passes were Jake Gillman (15 yards), Ty Nielsen (27 yards) and Josh Sanders (18 yards). Edwards threw for 386 yards on the evening, with Kalama hauling in 172 receiving yards in the rout.

The Wasps improved to 5-1 on the season and 2-0 in Region 8 play. Wasatch is next in action Friday at 7:00 pm at Provo.
