LEHI, Utah-Emmett Call ran for a pair of touchdowns in relief of starting signal-caller Jayden Clemons, who ran for a touchdown and tossed for another score as the Skyridge Falcons routed Wasatch 42-17 Wednesday in Region 8 football action.
In the loss, Jake Gillman tossed his first varsity touchdown pass, finding Hayden Stocking for a 10-yard scoring strike and Matthias Dunn added a 25-yard field goal. Kaden Smith also added a 16-yard scoring reception in defeat for the Wasps.
Wasatch is now tied with Springville and Timpanogos at 2-3 for third place. A coin toss will occur, which if the Wasps should win it, they would play Region 5 champion Box Elder at Brigham City in the first round of the 5-A playoffs. If they lose the coin toss, they would have to play either Timpanogos or Springville in a play-in game to get into the postseason.
