Wasatch Basketball’s Will Harris Named 2nd Team All-5-A

HEBER CITY, Utah-Friday, the Deseret News released its all-state boys basketball squads with Wasatch’s Will Harris honored for his play.

Harris, a 6-1 junior guard, averaged 18.8 points, 4 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.4 steals per game for the Wasps.

The 5-A MVP was Olympus’ Rylan Jones (21.6 points/8 assists/7.9 rebounds/3 steals per game) who is a commit to the University of Utah. Jones was also named as Utah’s Mr. Basketball by the Deseret News for his excellence.

Harris will be called upon, along with Lance Gehring, to lead a Wasps squad that finished 11-14 and 4-6 in Region 8 play under head coach James Ballstaedt next season.
