DENVER-Wednesday, the Western Athletic Conference updated schedule formats for men’s basketball.
This affects Dixie State University and Utah Valley University as the Trailblazers and Wolverines will commence their WAC portion of the schedule January 7.
This commences a series of back-to-back opponents against the same opponent at the same venue.
All squads in the WAC will host four opponents and travel to four opponents over the course of nine weeks.
The respective WAC tournaments for each gender are slated for March 10-13 at the Orleans Arena of Las Vegas.
Other WAC sports whose schedules were determined Wednesday include women’s basketball, men’s and women’ soccer, women’s volleyball and men’s and women’s cross country.
