Various Utah Pro/College Sports Teams Unveil Lead Together Initiative

SALT LAKE CITY-Late Friday, various Utah-based collegiate and pro sports teams and athletes unveiled an initiative called, “Lead Together.” This consists of a long-term commitment to cultivate and promote a community culture of inclusion and belonging.

This is introduced by a video which will play in various sports venues across the Beehive State.

Among those in the video are Utah Jazz standouts, shooting guard/small forward Bojan Bogdanovic, guard Mike Conley, center Rudy Gobert, small forward Joe Ingles and shooting guard Donovan Mitchell and the head football coaches of Utah State, Weber State, Utah and BYU, Gary Andersen, Jay Hill, Kyle Whittingham and Kalani Sitake, respectively.

This is to honor diversity and inclusion for all those who enter sports venues in Utah and was inspired by “Take the Lead” which has been implemented by various sports teams in the New England area.

This video is available upon request at leadtogetherutah.org for sports organizations at all levels to download and feature at all their games.

This will also be used by Junior Jazz as it epitomizes this organization’s message of sportsmanship, fair play and respect on the court.
