UVU Men’s Basketball Receives Akron Transfer Into The Program

OREM, Utah-Wednesday, Utah Valley men’s basketball head coach Mark Madsen announced the transfer of Akron forward Emmanuel Olojakpoke  into his program. Olojakpoke will play for the Wolverines during the 2019-20 season.

The 6-8 senior out of Houston played in 15 games and made 13 starts for the Zips during his sophomore season in 2017-18.

Olojakpoke averaged 6.3 points and 4.1 rebounds that season, while shooting 61.5 percent from the field.

He also shot 59 percent from the field and posted 25 blocks.

As a senior, Olojakpoke has one season of eligibility remaining and will provide Madsen’s squad with length and athleticism.
