Utah State’s Savon Scarver Named As FWAA All-American

LOGAN, Utah-Monday, Utah State kickoff returner Savon Scarver, a sophomore out of Las Vegas, was named to the Walter Camp Football Foundation All-American team as a first-team member.

This is the second consecutive year an Aggie has achieved this honor as defensive back Jalen Davis was named as a second-team selection.

Making the second team were Utah linebacker Chase Hansen and kicker Matt Gay. Scarver was the only Mountain West Conference player to make the squad.

The 5-11 185-pound return specialist leads the nation in kick return average, at 34.2 yards per return, and has returned a pair of kickoffs for scores, tying him for second nationally.
