Pacific Coast League

RENO, Nev.-Michael Hermosillo homered and added a key 2-RBI single in a 6-run 9th Inning as the Salt Lake Bees bested Reno 11-7 Saturday in Pacific Coast League baseball action Saturday at Greater Nevada Field. Jose Rojas added 3 RBI for the Bees, who improved to 56-74 with the win. Jason Alexander improved to 2-5 on the mound as he earned the victory for Salt Lake. Abraham Almonte had 2 RBI in defeat for the 60-71 Aces.

Pioneer League

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-Bryan Torres had 2 RBI and the Rocky Mountain Vibes downed Orem 5-2 Saturday in Pioneer League baseball action at UCHealth Park. Carlos Luna improved to 3-4 on the season for the Vibes with the win. Rocky Mountain is now 28-34 after getting this victory. Caleb Scires homered in the loss for the Owlz, who fell to 25-38.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-Christian Koss’ 1st Inning 2-run homer set the tone for the Grand Junction Rockies as they led wire-to-wire in downing the Ogden Raptors 7-5 in Pioneer League baseball action at Suplizio Field Saturday. Ronaiker Palma, Bladimir Restituyo and Julio Carreras all added RBI as well in the win for the Rockies, as they improved to 29-33. Anderson Bido kept his perfect season intact as with the win, he improved to 5-0 on the mound for Grand Junction. Jon Littell, Andrew Shaps, Jeremy Arocho and Sauryn Lao each had RBI in the loss for the 46-16 Raptors.
