Pacific Coast League

SALT LAKE CITY-Carlos Asuaje homered and added another RBI on a ground-out as th Reno Aces outlasted the Salt Lake Bees 6-5 Friday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League action. Marty Herum and Juniel Querecuto added RBI in the win for the Aces, improving them to 36-44 while the Bees fell to 35-45. Brennon Lund, Erick Salcedo and Taylor Ward had RBI in the loss for Salt Lake.

Pioneer League

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-Antonio Pinero doubled in the bottom of the 9th, leading the Rocky Mountain Vibes past Orem 5-4 at UC Health Park Friday in Pioneer League action. Jess Williams, Michael Bello and Bryan Torres also added RBI in the win for the Vibes, improving them to 5-8 on the season. D’Shawn Knowles, Adrian Rondon and Jeremiah Jackson all had RBI in the loss for the Owlz, as they fell to 6-8.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-Friday, the Ogden Raptors and Grand Junction Rockies played a doubleheader to make up for the wet field at Suplizio Field Thursday afternoon.

The Raptors took the first game, 8-4, with Andy Pages hitting his 4th home run of the season as Ogden improved to 9-4. Justin Yurchak, Joe Vranesh and Sauryn Lao added RBI in the win for the Raptors. Grand Junction took the second game, 5-4 as Max George scored the winning run on a walk-off walk to improve Grand Junction to 7-6.
