SALT LAKE CITY-Gavin Lux, Austin Barnes, Edwin Rios, Kyle Garlick and Connor Joe all had RBI as the Oklahoma City Dodgers bested the Salt Lake Bees 5-3 Wednesday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League baseball action. Daniel Corcino earned the win on the mound for Oklahoma City as he improved to 8-4 on the season while the Dodgers are now 51-57. Taylor Ward hit his 24th home run on the season and Jarrett Parker added an RBI single in defeat for the 48-61 Bees.
Pioneer League
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-Jose Sibrian had two key RBI as the Rocky Mountain Vibes routed the Orem Owlz 10-2 Wednesday at UCHealth Park in Pioneer League baseball action. Micah Bello, Cam Devanney, Bryan Torres and Carlos Rodriguez all added RBI for Rocky Mountain in the win as they improved to 20-23. Arman Sabouri earned the win on the mound for the Vibes, his first of the season against three losses.
Johan Sala had two RBI in the loss for the Owlz, who fell to 13-30.
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-Reese Berberet scored on a Zach Ching fielding error as the Grand Junction Rockies stunned the Ogden Raptors 2-1 at Suplizio Field Wedesday in Pioneer League baseball action. Jack Yalowitz added an RBI single in the pivotal 9th Inning, which was where all the game’s runs were scored, for the 23-20 Rockies. Anderson Bido earned the win on the mound for Grand Junction, improving to 4-0 on the season. Jon Littell had a sacrifice fly RBI single in defeat for the Raptors, who fell to 34-9 and have dropped two of their first three games of this series.
