SEATTLE-Wednesday, Utah men’s basketball (14-11, 8-5 in Pac-12 play) returns to action at Seattle as they face the Washington Huskies (20-5, 11-1 in Pac-12 play).
The Utes will commence a three-game road trip Wednesday which will also take them to Washington State and Colorado.
The Huskies, after edging Washington State 72-70 Saturday, have won 13 of their last 14 games. Their only loss in that span came February 9 at the hands of Arizona State.
The Utes had been on a three-game winning streak themselves, before dropping a 98-87 game to Arizona State last Saturday at the Huntsman Center.
The Utes score 76.6 points per game and surrender 75.1 points per contest.
Senior guard Sedrick Barefield, who scored his 1,000th career point for the Utes in Saturday’s loss to the Sun Devils, continues to lead the squad with 16.2 points per game.
Freshman forward Timmy Allen (11.8 points, 5.2 rebounds per game, 59.2 percent shooting from the field) and sophomore forward Donnie Tillman (10.2 points, 5.3 rebounds per game) continue to lead the Utes as well.
The Huskies score 71.7 points per game and limit opponents to 64.5 points per contest.
Sophomore guard Jaylen Nowell (16.4 points, 5.3 rebounds per game) and senior forward Noah Dickerson (12.8 points, 6.7 rebounds per game) lead the Huskies as does senior guard David Crisp (12.4 points per game).
The Utes lead the Huskies 15-10 all-time and have won eight out of the last 10 overall in the series.
