SALT LAKE CITY-Friday, per announcements from the Salt Lake City-based Larry H. Miller Group of Companies confirmed it was laying off employees from some of its 80 companies, including the NBA’s Utah Jazz.
These statements were confirmed by ESPN NBA analyst Adrian Wojnarowski in a series of tweets Friday.
The Larry H. Miller Group of Companies reported it had worked to reduce costs over the course of the past few weeks.
These layoffs did not include basketball staff although some employees have been given compensation reductions.
After Jazz center Rudy Gobert and guard Donovan Mitchell tested positive for COVID-19 last month, all Jazz players have been cleared by the Utah Health Department as was confirmed earlier this week.
