Utah Jazz Announce TV Broadcast Internship

SALT LAKE CITY-Per a late Wednesday release, the Utah Jazz announced a television broadcast internship. This paid internship includes working on video pre-production and live broadcasts.

Interns may be called upon to conduct and transcribe interviews, assist with video shoots and edits and perform various tasks on the studio crew for the pregame, postgame and halftime shows.

Interns will be primarily expected to keep television broadcasts organized by assisting producers, directors and managers. Additionally, they will work various production roles during our live broadcasts for both home and away games, learn video editing skills to push productions along, provide general administration assistance and support, be a good teammate, protect the legal, financial and moral well-being of the company and exemplify the Larry H. Miller group of company values.

They will also fulfill any other duties as assigned.

All interns must be currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university. It is preferred that they have video editing experience, especially with Adobe Creative Suite and have sincere interest in a broadcasting career.

They must also be able to take direction and have a willingness to learn and have the ability to coordinate/manage multiple tasks and projects while providing timely and clear updates to supervisors. They must all have the ability to multi-task and have excellent oral and written communication skills.

This is a part-time position and interns must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally. It is required that all interns work long hours, including nights, holidays and weekends.

All interns must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and be able to lift at least 20 pounds.

Additionally, all interns must be available to work at Vivint Smart Home Arena for all home and away games. No travel is required.
