Utah Football’s Red-White Game Slated For Saturday



SALT LAKE CITY-Saturday, Utah football’s Red-White game occurs at Rice-Eccles Stadium for an 11:00 am kickoff.

All seating is general admission and is free to the public. This game will be preceded by the MUSS (9:00 am) and alumni (10:00 am) games.

Parking lots at the campus open at 6:00 am with tailgating allowed on the west side on a first-come first-serve basis.

The Rice-Eccles Stadium ticket office opens at 10:00 am for season ticket renewals. The deadline for season ticket renewal is April 24.

UTA/TRAX will offer free rides to the game with a printable pass.

Quarters will be 10 minutes long with a standard running clock in the first half. In the second half, there will be a running clock.

Halftime will be eight minutes long and teams get two timeouts per half.

There will be no kickoffs and in turn, no punt or kickoff returns.

Play will start at the 35-yard line and punts will be marked at the spot of the catch.

Should a team score and is down by 10 or more points, they will retain possession.

The losing players and coaches will spend 30 minutes cleaning the Eccles Football Facility April 15.
