USU Kicker Dominik Eberle Named As Mountain West Special Teams Player of Week

LOGAN, Utah-Monday, Utah State kicker Dominik Eberle was named the Mountain West special teams player of the week as confirmed by the league office.

Eberle has now earned this distinction twice this season and this is the Aggies’ 25th weekly honor in their sixth season as a Mountain West member.

In the Aggies’ 29-24 win at Colorado State, Eberle, a 6-2 195-pound native of Nuremberg, Germany, scored 11 points, making all three of his field goals and both of his PAT attempts.

Eberle has now scored 125 points this season and 235 in his career.

He leads the Mountain West in scoring with 11.4 points per game and is third nationally.

The Aggies conclude their regular season with a road tilt at Boise State Saturday.

This game will determine the Mountain West’s Mountain Division champion.
