LOGAN, Utah-Wednesday, Utah State football junior quarterback Jordan Love had a big day as he was a guest on Jim Rome’s national radio show and was also named to the Peyton Manning Award watch list.
He is the only Beehive State signal-caller to be named to this prestigious list.
The 6-4 220-pound quarterback out of Bakersfield, Calif., earned second-team All-Mountain West Conference honors in 2018 and set five school records, including touchdown passes (32), passing yards (3,567), 300-yard passing games (seven), points responsible for (234) and being named the Mountain West offensive player of the week. (he obtained this honor on five occasions).
