LOGAN, Utah-Monday, Utah State football senior kicker Dominik Eberle was selected as one of three Lou Groza award “Stars of the Week” across FBS college football by the Palm Beach County (Fla.) Sports Commission.
The Lou Groza award, presented annually by the Orange Bowl, recognizes three FBS kickers weekly.
As the Aggies bested Colorado State 34-24, Eberle scored 10 points and made both of his field goal attempts, as well as all four of his PAT attempts.
Eberle, a product of Nuremberg, Germany, has 290 career points, which ranks him first all-time in points among kickers.
The all-time leading scorer in Aggies history is tailback Robert Turbin, who amassed 308 points from 2007-2011.
