PRICE, Utah-Tuesday, USU-Eastern women’s volleyball player Sarah Mafi was named as the Scenic West Athletic Conference’s player of the week.
Mafi earned this honor after amassing 63 kills (3.94 kills per set) and 55 digs (3.44 per set with four reception errors) in 16 sets.
Presently, Mafi, a sophomore out of Spanish Fork and Maple Mountain High School, ranks fifth nationally in kills (12th in kills per set) and fifth in scoring.
She is also serving as a team captain for the Eagles.
