SAN BRUNO, Calif.-Monday, BYU men’s basketball player TJ Haws was named as the West Coast Conference’s men’s player of the week for his contributions in the Cougars’ wins against San Diego and Loyola Marymount.
In these victories, Haws, a junior guard, amassed 24 points, 7.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
This is Haws’ first WCC weekly honor for the season and the third for BYU during this campaign.
The 18-10 (10-3 in WCC play) Cougars are next in action Thursday at the Marriott Center against the San Francisco Dons.
