The Kansas City Chiefs Re-Sign Aleva Hifo Sunday

KANSAS CITY, Mo.-Sunday, the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs re-signed former BYU receiver Aleva Hifo per information released by Chiefs Wire of the USA Today Sports Media Group.

Hifo had been placed on the reserve covid-19 list by the Chiefs last month after reportedly testing positive.

Days later, Hifo was removed from the list and released by the Chiefs.

The versatile Hifo, who had 1,336 receiving yards and seven scoring receptions as well as 233 rushing yards and four touchdown runs as a collegian has proven himself a quick study of the Kansas City offense.

Hifo received sufficient reps during the Chiefs’ off-season program as Kansas City receivers Sammy Watkins and Byron Pringle were injured throughout these proceedings.
