ST. GEORGE, Utah-Seven Dixie State men’s basketball student-athletes were named to the 2019-20 National Association of Basketball Coaches Academic Honor Court, as the organization confirmed Wednesday.
The Trailblazers were also recognized with the NABC’s 2019-20 Team Academic Excellence Award.
Among the seven members of last season’s squad who earned these Honor Court accolades are the following:
-Senior forward Cameron Chatwin (4.00 GPA)
-Senior guard Jack Pagenkopf (3.304 GPA)
-Senior guard Andre Wilson (3.684 GPA)
-Junior forward/center Jarod Greene (3.803 GPA)
-Junior forward/center Hunter Schofield (3.961 GPA)
-Junior guard Zubair Seyed (3.217 GPA)
-Junior guard Dason Youngblood (3.671 GPA)
Youngblood also earned first-team All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference academic honors. Sophomores, forward Josh Newbold and forward Jacob Nicolds each earned RMAC Honor Roll recognition.
