LOGAN, Utah-Utah State men’s basketball junior center Neemias Queta was named to the Wooden Preseason Watch List earlier this week.
Queta, a native of Barreiro, Portugal, has averaged 12.4 points and 8.5 rebounds per game during his career with the Aggies.
The 7-0 245-pound Queta is only 26 blocks short of surpassing Gilbert Pete (1986-1989; 155 blocked shots) for the most blocked shots in program history.
The winner of this award will be honored in April 2021 at the conclusion of the NCAA Tournament.
