LOGAN, Utah-Late Wednesday, Utah State freshman men’s basketball player Neemias Queta became one of 66 players to receive an invitation to the 2019 NBA Draft combine May 16 and 17 at Chicago.
Queta was the only collegian from a Utah school to be invited.
Queta, a Portuguese national from Barreira, Portugal, was both Mountain West freshman and defensive player of the year, after posting 84 blocks, setting a school record.
Queta ranked 14th nationally in blocks per game with 2.4 swats per contest.
Queta also posted 11.8 points and 8.9 rebounds per game for the Aggies.
