SUGAR LAND, Texas-Sebastián Rivero drove in three runs and the Salt Lake Bees overpowered Sugar Land 7-3 Thursday at Constellation Field in Pacific Coast League play. Brett Kerry recorded nine strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Logan Davidson homered in defeat for the Space Cowboys. Following Thursday’s results, the Bees improved to 49-67 while the Space Cowboys fell to 54-60. The squads return to action Friday at 6:05 pm for the fourth game of the series at Constellation Field.
Pioneer League
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-Zeb Roos and Evan Scavotto homered and the Grand Junction Jackalopes overpowered Ogden 10-4 in Pioneer League play Thursday at Suplizio Field. Nathan Shinn’s three strikeouts in seven innings of work earned the win on the mound for Grand Junction. Christopher Sargent Jr. and Elliott Good each homered in the loss for the Raptors. Following Thursday’s results, the Jackalopes improved to 32-43 and the Raptors fell to 42-32. The squads return to action Friday at 6:35 pm at Suplizio Field for the fourth game of the series.
