OGDEN, Utah-Weber State star sophomore tailback Josh Davis was named as the Big Sky Conference’s offensive player of the week for his contributions in the Wildcats’ 41-24 win over Cal Poly Saturday at Stewart Stadium.
Davis, a former Alta High star, ran for 129 yards on 14 carries (9.2 yards per tote) and a pair of scores as Weber State cruised to victory against the Mustangs.
This is Davis’ first career Big Sky Conference player of the week award.
The Wildcats return to action Saturday at 5:00 pm MDT at Reno, Nev. against the Nevada Wolf Pack of the Mountain West Conference.
