SEATTLE-Saturday, former Wasatch High School star Talem Franco, a BYU standout, had a historic indoor track and field meet at the Washington Invitational on the campus of the University of Washington.
In the mile run, Franco, posted a time of 3:58.09 which is the third-best time in school history. Furthermore, the senior distance runner ran the first sub-4 minute mile in program history since 2012.
Franco and his teammates are next in action Friday and Saturday at the Nike Boise Indoor Invitational at Nampa, Idaho.
Boise State serves as the host university for this event.
