Eric Daniels Retained As Assistant for UVU Men’s Basketball



OREM, Utah-As was confirmed last Friday, Utah Valley men’s basketball head coach Mark Madsen retained Eric Daniels as an assistant, a holdover from the Mark Pope regime.

Daniels has played an instrumental role in helping the Wolverines have record-breaking win-loss seasons four times in his tenure, which dates back to 2015.

Daniels came to Utah Valley from the NBA’s Orlando Magic, serving the squad in on-court work, player development and video.

Daniels was also an assistant for five seasons at NCAA Division II Regis University and was an assistant at Southern Utah in the 2008-09 season.

Daniels is a graduate of NAIA Johnson & Wales of Denver and is the son of current Utah assistant Donny Daniels.
