PUEBLO, Colo.-Hunter Schofield’s 28 points and 9 rebounds led the Dixie State Trailblazers to an 81-69 win over Colorado State-Pueblo Saturday at Massari Arena in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference men’s basketball action.
The 10-0 (5-0 in RMAC play) Trailblazers broke open a close game with a 44-31 second-half run to win going away against the Thunderwolves, who fell to 4-6 and 2-2 in conference play.
Brandon McGhee’s 14 points led Colorado State-Pueblo in the loss.
The Trailblazers return to action Friday at Western Oregon in a non-conference tilt. The Wolves are presently 5-2 after downing Corban 91-71 Saturday afternoon.
