ST. GEORGE, Utah-Monday, Dixie State men’s basketball confirmed the signing of transfer Jamar Ergas a 6-3 redshirt sophomore guard from Washington State University.
Ergas, a native of Toronto, appeared in 11 of 31 games for the Cougars in the 2017-18 season and scored a season-best four points January 31, 2018, going 2-2 from the field in an 100-72 loss to Arizona.
Ergas also played at South Plains College of Levelland, Texas and averaged 18 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals as a senior in high school at Elite 1 Academy of Phoenix.
