SALT LAKE CITY-Hunter Schofield posted 16 points and 6 rebounds as the Dixie State Trailblazers pulverized Lake Superior State 95-73 Friday in non-conference men’s basketball action at Behnken Field House on the campus of Westminster College.
The Trailblazers (4-0) shot 50 percent for the game and were again bolstered by a strong game from point guard Jack Pagenkopf (15 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists, 5 of 8 shooting).
Frank Staine added 15 points on 6-10 shooting for the Trailblazers who will face the Alaska-Fairbanks Nanooks Saturday at Behnken Field House in hopes of keeping their undefeated record intact.
Ke’Montrece Collins netted 20 points on 8-11 shooting from the field for the Lakers, who dropped to 1-3 on the season.
