ST. GEORGE, Utah-Frank Staine posted 20 points and 6 rebounds on 4-7 from the field and 10-11 at the foul line as the Dixie State Trailblazers downed UC Colorado Springs 75-61 Friday at Burns Arena.
Jack Pagenkopf added 15 points and 8 assists as Dixie State improved to 11-1 and 6-0 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play.
Dixie State took a 46-28 lead into the locker room by symmetrically shooting 50 percent from both the field and behid the 3-point line.
The Trailblazers also gave 15-year head coach Jon Judkins a win in his 400th game at the helm at St. George.
Padiet Wang netted 14 points and 7 assists in the loss for the Mountain Lions as they fell to 7-4 and 3-3 in conference play.
Dixie State returns to action Saturday at 7:30 pm against the Colorado School of Mines Orediggers at Burns Arena.
