ST. GEORGE, Utah-Monday evening, Dixie State men’s basketball revealed its non-conference schedule.
These are historical games for the Trailblazers as they represent their first contests representing an NCAA Division I school.
Dixie State’s first basketball game as a Division I school occurs November 28 as the Trailblazers host the NAIA Saint Katherine Firebirds of San Marcos, Calif.
The Trailblazers’ first game against a fellow Division I school occurs December 5 as they host in-state foe Weber State at Burns Arena.
Dixie State then visits the Denver Pioneers of the Summit League December 12 and Utah State of the Mountain West Conference December 15.
December 17, Dixie State makes a short trip up Interstate 15 to Cedar City to face Southern Utah and will host SAGU American Indian College of Phoenix December 19.
December 29, Dixie State visits national power Gonzaga of the West Coast Conference at Spokane, Wash.
January 2, the Trailblazers host California Miramar of San Diego to conclude their non-conference slate.
