PROVO, Utah-Late Wednesday, BYU men’s basketball announced the signing of Utah Valley transfers Richard Harward and Wyatt Lowell, as well as Trey Stewart, who also initially signed with Utah Valley will graduate from American Fork High School later this month.
Harward and Lowell will sit out the 2019-20 season per NCAA rules. Stewart will serve a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints mission after his high school graduation.
Over the course of the last 18 games of the season, Harward, a 6-11 center, averaged 10.8 points and 7.1 rebounds while shooting 67.9 percent from the field for the Cougars.
Lowell is a 6-10 forward who was the 2018-19 freshman of the year in the WAC for the Wolverines.
He led all WAC freshmen with 5.4 points and 3 rebounds per game.
