BYU Men’s Basketball Announces 2019-20 Conference Schedule

PROVO, Utah-Friday, BYU men’s basketball head coach Mark Pope announced the non-conference schedule for the Cougars.

The Cougars will host three NCAA Tournament teams from 2019 and play three games at the Maui Jim Maui Invitational at Lahaina, Hawaii, among other highlights.

BYU will host Midnight Madness October 23 and 24 at the Marriott Center followed by a November 1 home date against NCAA Division II foe Texas-Tyler in an exhibition game.

The Cougars’ regular season commences November 5 at the Marriott Center against Cal State Fullerton of the Big West Conference.

This will be followed by a visit to the Marriott Center November 9 against San Diego State. On November 13, BYU hosts in-state non-conference foe Southern Utah and takes to the road for the first time November 16 at Houston.

The Cougars then visit Boise State November 20 and will go out to Hawaii for the Maui Invitational November 25-27. They square off against UCLA November 25 and will face either Kansas or NCAA Division II Chaminade November 26.

BYU then returns home to host NAIA foe Montana Tech November 30 and will face Utah at Salt Lake City December 4 at the Huntsman Center.

In a neutral-site game at the Vivint Smart Arena of Salt Lake City, BYU faces UNLV December 7 and then hosts the Nevada Wolf Pack December 10.

As part of the Beehive Classic at Vivint Smart Arena, BYU meets Utah State December 14 and hosts Weber State December 21.

The Cougars’ non-conference season concludes December 28 as they host the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles of the Summit League.
