PROVO, Utah-Tuesday, BYU cross country released its 2018 schedule which consists of three home meets, including the West Coast Conference championships and the NCAA Mountain Region Championships.
All of these home meets will be hosted by the East Bay Golf Course.
This season commemorates the first time BYU has hosted the WCC Championships as well as the sixth time they have hosted the NCAA Mountain Regional Championships.
The season commences with the Cougars hosting the BYU Autumn Classic September 15.
They then travel to Notre Dame, Ind. September 28 for the Joe Piane Invitational and the Reeder Memorial October 5, hosted by Utah State in Logan.
The Cougars then compete at the Pre-Nationals Invitational October 13 at Madison, Wis.
They will then prepare for the WCC Championships October 27 and the NCAA Mountain Regional Championships November 9.
The national championship meet is November 17 at Madison, Wis. hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Madison Badgers.
Last season, the BYU men finished third in the nation and the women placed 11th overall at the championship meet
