BYU Baseball Hits Road Again At Lamar



BEAUMONT, Texas-Thursday, the BYU baseball team (5-2 on the season) hits the road for the third straight week as they visit the Lamar Cardinals of the Southland Conference.

The Cougars have won four out of their last five games while senior catcher Noah Hill is hitting .435 on the season with 10 hits.

Senior outfielder Brock Hale is currently hitting .333 with nine hits, eight runs, four RBI and four walks.

Sophomore infielder Jackson Cluff is also hitting .333 and has amassed nine hits and 10 RBI thus far on the season for the Cougars.

For Lamar, senior infielder Robin Adames (7 RBI and 10 hits) and junior infielder Anthony Quirion (7 RBI and 8 hits) are the leaders.

The Cougars are 1-1 all-time against the Cardinals while this weekend’s series is the first meeting between the schools since the 1979 NCAA Tournament.
