TACOMA, Wash.-Zac Ryan earned the save, quelling the Tacoma Rainiers with bases loaded, as the Salt Lake Bees earned a 7-5 win Sunday at Cheney Field in Pacific Coast League baseball action.
Matt Thaiss and Ryan Scott added home runs for the Bees with Kaleb Cowart adding three RBI for Salt Lake, as they improved to 36-46 with the win.
Jaycob Brugman homered and added a ground-out RBI in the loss for the Rainiers, as they fell to 40-43.
The Bees and Rainiers meet Monday at Tacoma again for an 8:05 MDT opening pitch.
