RENO, Nev.-Josie Siri and Niko Kavadas homered and the Salt Lake Bees doubled up the Reno Aces 6-3 Friday at Greater Nevada Field, snapping a four-game losing streak in the process in Pacific Coast League play.
Samy Natera Jr. netted two strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Ivan Melendez homered in the loss for the Aces.
Following Friday’s results, the Bees improved to 4-9, winning their first game in Nevada this season on their seventh opportunity on the young campaign. Meanwhile, the Aces fell to 8-5. The squads return to action Saturday at 5:05 pm as Reno once again goes for the series win.
