Wasatch Girls Softball pounds into the State Tournament with a Big win over Olympus.

Wasatch Girls Softball team defeated Olympus 14-1 on Tuesday, May 14 thanks to nine runs in the fourth inning. Lady Wasps big bats were led by Charly Kelson, Payge Armendariz, Andrea Sweat, Charly Cluff, Paige Richins, and Brylee Bigelow, all knocking in runs in the inning. Riley Arnold was the winning pitcher for Wasatch Wasps Varsity. She went five innings, allowing one run on four hits and striking out nine. Wasatch Wasps Varsity racked up 12 hits on the day. Maclee McPhie, Preslee Christensen, and Bigelow all managed multiple hits for the Lady Wasps.
